Vidago Golf course is very pleasant, surrounded by large trees of many different species and is part of the Vidago spa services. The September competitions are well known and attract many visitors from Lisbon, Oporto, Vigo and Orense. About fifty local members, residents of Vidago, enliven the delightful club and perhaps in no other place as Vidago is the golfing phenomenon so deeply rooted in social classes which cannot be considered as belonging to the elite.
From schoolteachers to barmen, from electricians to doctors, civil servants to students, all of them are in love with golf. Among these people a reasonable number of good players has developed and they have already won the title of national club team champions.
